An interesting selection

Despite the terrible translation and grammar, this book holds its value. Why? Because the editors have sifted through hundreds of lectures to compile a book about the secret virtues of food. This book also talks about fasting. I am still reading it but here is what I remember and would like to investigate:
- a 24 hour fast without food or water can rejuvenate the body, as long as there are things like air, sunshine, good thoughts, etc.
- apricots renew everything
- cherries make people cheerful
- fasting is one key to looking younger
Douno's style and content seem to be a cross between Gurdjieff and Yogananda. If bad translations, poor editing, poor curation and an unpolished book scare you, avoid this book. I got this on Kindle. I wouldn't buy it on paperback.
