I haven't taken the test yet to say they worked but the concept of reviewing all the major subjects/theories seems to be helping with my practice test and makes me confident I will pass the FE Exam.

Flashcards with the Fundamentals

Who said engineers can't utilize a flashcard system, and especially if you need to get a passing score on the FE exam. In general, engineers start out as students and should know how beneficial a good set of flashcards can be.

In these flashcards, you have the benefits your engineer heart desires. For instance, the design is simple and to-the-point. Fonts are large enough to see but don't overwhelm the card itself. Although there are many points on each card, there is still plenty of room to make additional notes.

Now when you get into the content on the flashcards you are truly in for a treat of engineer proportions. You will see flashcards in this system on engineering probability and statistics, chemistry, and computers just to name a few. In this group of concepts, you will find your breadth and length of knowledge because you will “discuss” measuring the distance between points in space, among other things.

To dive into your role of engineer you will need to comment these cards to memory. This set of cards is a good source of repetition for the mind. About the Author
David Waugh is Director of Primary PGCE at Durham University where he is also the subject leader for English. He has published extensively on Primary English. David was Regional Adviser for ITT for the National Strategies from 2008 to 2010. Sally Neaum is a lecturer in Early Childhood, and teaches Primary English in initial teacher training. She has worked as a nursery and primary school teacher, as an advisor in early years and inclusion. She has an M.Ed in Educational Psychology and Special Educational Needs and her doctoral research was in the pedagogy of early literacy.

Getting technical about non-technical skills

Following the introduction, the book is structured around chapters on 7 'non-technical' (i.e. human factors related) skills. These are: situational awareness, decision making, communications, team working, leadership, managing stress and coping with fatigue. There are then 3 more general chapters on identifying, training and assessing non-technical skills. The examples used are mostly from aviation, offshore and surgery. There are extensive bibliographies after each chapter. While covering some complex subjects the writing style is very accessible.

About the Author
Jeff Keljik served as head of the electrical department at Dunwoody College of Technology where he played an integral part in developing the Electrical Design and Management program. He also serves as chairman of the Executive Board for the North Central Electrical League and is a member of the Minnesota Electrical Association Education Committee. The author of ELECTRIC MOTOR AND MOTOR CONTROLS (Cengage Learning), Mr. Keljik is also a contributing writer-editor for AC THEORY & DC THEORY, 3e (Cengage Learning). His honors include the 1993 Kraemer Fellowship Award for new technology education and an award for International Technical Teacher Education. A graduate of Dunwoody College of Technology, he also holds a bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University as well as a Master Class A license and a Journeyman's Class A license, both from the state of Minnesota.

For students who are planning to get a magister on power systems analisys ,is very important to get a complete knowledgment about every equipment that is part of the power system. Now i'm finishing my career and i'm looking for a complete book to get more information about power generation, and power quality,and i'm sure it is what im looking for .
